It’s a free space, a social space that everyone can share. It’s free for all. Based on the social meaning of free space, it must be an easy to realize space. It is characterized by simple structure and low cost.

竹子是空间中唯一的材料。从结构上讲，竹子具有独特的灵活性，使我们可以用有限的资源来实现这个项目 （8名越南工人，在越南和意大利建筑师和学生的支持下，25天内建造了越南馆）。它的灵活性还有超越结构的意义。竹子可以创造一个与阳光、风、大海，与自然之美紧密联系的空间。也正因如此，这个竹空间虽然很小，却很容易成为城市的地标性建筑。

Bamboo is the only material in space. Structurally, bamboo has unique flexibility, which enables us to achieve this project with limited resources (eight Vietnamese workers, with the support of Vietnamese and Italian architects and students, built the Vietnam Pavilion in 25 days). Its flexibility also means transcending structure. Bamboo can create a space closely connected with sunshine, wind, sea and the beauty of nature. Because of this, although the bamboo space is very small, it can easily become a landmark of the city.

作为一个社交空间，这种结构可以在威尼斯、以及其他城市和乡村复制。它易于运输，可以成为博物馆内的一个空间，学校内的一个展亭或者仅仅是乡村里的一个自由、开放的公共空间。它的潜力是无限的。这种无差别的潜力正是我们想在这个空间提供的。

As a social space, this structure can be replicated in Venice, as well as other cities and villages. It is easy to transport, and can become a space in a museum, an exhibition booth in a school, or just a free and open public space in the countryside. Its potential is unlimited. This undifferentiated potential is exactly what we want to offer in this space.
