香港的TRi餐厅以独特的巴厘风味餐饮体验捕捉巴厘岛的纯净精髓。TRi由Le Comptoir团队带来了IBUKU的竹装饰室内设计。

TRi Restaurant in Hong Kong captures the pure essence of Bali with a unique Balinese dining experience. TRi brought the IBUKU interior design by the Le Comptoir team.

The concept of TRi comes from the Balinese philosophy of TRi Hita Karana, which is the combination and balance of three elements: human, natural and divine. Guests pass through three areas during their TRi experience — Kampung (village), Kebun (garden) and Hutan (forest). Bali’s incredibly rich cultural heritage and unparalleled natural beauty inspired the design elements. Bamboo is the main material, but TRi also has Balinese metalwork, river tablets and traditional cloth. In repulse Bay, rivers, the ocean, daylight reflections, tree lines and distant mountains all play a role in TRi’s design.

The Kampung bar area is designed as a pavilion where Balinese gather to relax; “Our hope is to foster this sense of connection and harmony in TRi,” said IBUKU architect Darayanti. Guests then enter a well-organized home garden or the bright world of Kebun. Through the sags of sliced bamboo, the natural but cultivated geometric patterns bring vibrant light and shadow effects. A 14.5-metre-long communal table extends along the length of the window and is made from extraordinary rare teak logs designed by Tiger Hallow.

Finally, TRi’s guests come to pristine Bali, undisturbed riverside Bali, with ripples in the water, cascading ferns and wild bamboo forests. This space is free and wild, overlooking the peaceful river flowing in the sea. Along the far window is a curved terraced pond. Bamboo elements are tall, intact and naturally beautiful. “Bamboo was such a natural choice for the Tri Hita Karana concept. Not only is it a sustainable material, but it also has the spiritual function of representing wealth and prosperity, “said IBUKU interior architect Putri Wiwoho.

Stepping stones to water pods create private seating for romantic dinners and small groups. The oversize lotus flowers dominate the pond and form yet another layer of landscape, their silhouettes echoing the mountains. Stone tops made from thinly sliced river boulders are also featured, bringing the natural edges and weathered crust of the rough stone to the dining experience. The three legs are the “elephant feet” of the giant Dendrocalamus Asper bamboo, further beneath the wild and wild Balinese landscape.
